Over
200 people were in attendence of the 2006 National Science
Decathlon Tournament. This is an increase up from an estimate
of about 90 visitors and participants for 2005.
Sixty-four (64) individuals completed and submitted Tournament
Evaluations.
Representatives
from five (5) states, WA, CA, OR, NC and SC, were in attendance.
This
year, forty (40) high school students representing seven
full teams and one partial team participated in competition.
This is an increase from two (2) students representing two
partial teams in 2005. Thank
you high school students, especially Craig Richardson from
Hudson't Bay High School, for providing student leadership
by getting involved!
