REGISTRATION

2008 -2009 Team Registration Registration is simple. Just complete two basic steps:   Step 1) - Fill out the Registration Form (below) Step 2) - Make Registration Payment (on-line via PayPal, or by sending check or purchase order)   Please note individuals or teams failing to fully complete this process may NOT be guaranteed space at any given Science Decathlon tournament. Early Bird Registration Science Decathlon Registration Schedule & Fee Scale: Team Registration Due To Be Received By: June 30, 2008 $145.00/Team No restrictions other than governing policies addressed below. School Registration Due To Be Received By:June 30, 2008 $295.00/School Limited to six (6) multi-team schools/Division/Conference wanting to register at least one full team as determined by receipt of completed registration forms on a first come, first serve basis. Additional requirements may be made for schools wanting to register more than three (3) full teams. E-mail for PayPal link to be made available. Donations - Registration rates have been reduced and structured as they are at the request of financially restricted coaches. Originally, Early Registration rates were $195.00/team. Teams which can afford to pay a $195.00 registration rate are encouraged to make up the difference by making a voluntary donation to National Science Decathlon.                         --- Thank you! --- National Science Decathlon is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) charity. Contributions are tax deductible. 2008-2009 Registration fees allow teams to participate in at least one Conference and one State Science Decathlon tournament (when State tournaments are being organized) on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration fees for additional tournament opportunities (like Practice, Invitational, District or Regional) would be determined and collected by leadership representatives of each specific tournament independently of National Science Decathlon. 2008-2009 Registration fees also cover costs of National Science Decathlon tournament expenses and pre-determined percentages of participating teams will be invited from qualifying tournaments to compete in the 2009 National Science Decathlon tournament. In the event that there is need, Science Decathlon does reserve the right to cancel any tournaments or portions of tournaments due to inadequate registration and/or funding as determined by the National Science Decathlon board of directors. Likewise, Science Decathlon reserves the right to change this policy should this be necessary and beneficial to the health of the organization. Registration forms are available on-line at: www.sciencedecathlon.com. Please assist with tournament preparation by registering as early as possible! Thank you. 100% Volunteer Organization - No person(s) directly associated with National Science Decathlon receive compensation for work completed on behalf of the organization. REGISTRATION GUARANTEE - Get 100% of your registration fee returned if you are not able to compete in Science Decathlon tournaments or are not satisfied with your experience.
